Adding Test data in your Test Script
Updated over 3 months ago

The purpose of using test data in a test script is to simulate real-world scenarios and ensure that the software or application being tested can handle different inputs and produce expected outputs.

Using the Test Data column available in your Test Case script can help you document the different types of test data which should be used when executing your Test Script.

This documentation can help avoid manual errors during testing and ensure that the software can handle different inputs and produce expected outputs during test execution.

Note:

If a Test Step has Test Data you will see a Test Data icon to the right of the Step row this during Test Execution.

You can view the Test Data by selecting the Test Data icon.
