What's New
Smarter Time Tracking for Test Execution
Vansah is introducing a new Test Timer Logging experience designed to help teams understand how much time is spent testing.
When execution begins, Vansah will automatically start tracking elapsed time and continue until the Test Run reaches 100% completion. This provides a more accurate and traceable record of testing effort without requiring testers to track their time separately.
Detailed Time Logs
Each Test Run will include a dedicated time log history, giving teams greater visibility into:
Time recorded during execution
Who performed the testing
When testing activity occurred
Time spent across Test Run iterations
Execution time is automatically captured when a user runs a test case in Vansah. Manual time entries can also be added to record additional effort and provide a complete view of actual testing time.
Jira Dark Theme Support
Vansah to fully support Jira's theming system including the newly GA dark mode on Jira Cloud.
What This Means for You:
Vansah will detect the active Jira theme at render time and adjusts backgrounds, axis labels, legends, tooltips, and text colors accordingly. This eliminates any white flash or unreadable text when switching between themes.
Vansah Rovo Agent
We’re excited to announce that Vansah Rovo Agent is now available as part of Vansah Test Management for Jira.
Built specifically for Atlassian Rovo, the agent allows teams to interact with their Vansah testing information using natural language without leaving the Atlassian ecosystem.
With Vansah Rovo Agent, users can:
Review and understand existing test cases.
Explore test execution history and results.
Check requirement coverage and testing status.
Identify potential coverage gaps and quality risks.
Generate functional test cases from Jira requirements.
Create generated test cases directly in Vansah.
Access relevant QA insights through Atlassian Rovo.

Generated test cases are grounded in Jira requirements, related work items and established Vansah test-management structures. They remain fully manageable in Vansah for review, refinement, execution and traceability.
Vansah MCP
Vansah MCP is now available, enabling supported AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude to securely connect with Vansah Test Management for Jira.
Using natural-language conversations, teams can access and manage their testing information without having to move between multiple Vansah and Jira screens.
With Vansah MCP, you can:
Search for and review test cases and test scripts.
Review test-case history, versions and linked Jira work items.
Browse test folders, test plans, test runs and results.
Analyse test coverage, execution progress and traceability.

Vansah MCP uses your authenticated Atlassian account and respects your existing Jira and Vansah permissions. Users can only access the workspaces, projects and testing information they are already authorised to use.

Test Run Filtering
Easily filter your test runs directly within Vansah. This makes it faster to pinpoint specific test executions, narrow down results by status or environment, and keep your testing workflows organized.
What you can filter by
Test result: find Passed, Failed, Blocked, or other outcomes
Environment: isolate runs from a specific test environment
Release: review runs tied to a Jira release or version
Sprint: focus on execution activity in a selected sprint
Tested by: view runs executed by a specific tester
Linked work items or bugs: identify runs with or without linked issues, or narrow by a specific Jira issue key

Preserved Step Results: Fixed an issue where actual results entered during execution were lost when expanding or collapsing test steps.
Execution Step Visibility: Resolved a scrollbar boundary issue where the result of the final test step was obscured at the bottom of the execution panel.
Restored Test Run & Headline Properties: Fixed missing test run properties and restored headline information in the Test Case details view.
Modal Display Adjustment: Fixed clipping issues in the Test Case Version modal when displaying a single test case version.
Gadget View Fixes: Resolved an issue where expand icons were unresponsive when Vansah was viewed inside Jira Dashboard gadgets.
File Import & TestNG XML Parsing: Added validation to prevent unsupported
