Vansah Test Management for Jira, July 2023 Release brings exciting new features and enhancements to streamline your testing process inside Jira.

Introduce Test Folders (Linked) to the standard Grid. You can now organize your Test Cases in a hierarchical test folder structure and see the Test Folders directly from the Test Case grid.

The feature to print Test Run details, including test steps and actual results, is now available in Vansah.

Include ability to have Test Data for a test script. This feature allows users to define and manage test data directly within the test case script for each Step.

Test properties need to be displayed in tool tip for test run. When viewing a Test Run, simply hover over a Test Case run status to display the tooltip. The tooltip will now include relevant test properties, such as Latest Test Result, Assigned tester, Environment, Version.. This allows users to quickly assess the status and progress of their Test Run without needing to navigate to the Test Run details page.

Introduce Vansah Board grid into the planned test run screen

Introduce Search Folder Tree on the Issue Screen and Browse Test Folder on the Case Page and Gadgets. The Search Folder Tree feature allows users to quickly locate specific Test Folders. By simply entering the name or keyword associated with the desired Test Folder, users can instantly find and access the folder they need.

Ability to zoom in & out for an image attached to Actual Test Result. This feature enhancement allows testers to closely examine and analyze images, ensuring accurate and thorough evaluation of test results. This enhancement is particularly valuable for Test Cases that rely heavily on visual inspection, such as UI testing or graphical analysis. Testers can now easily zoom in and out of images to ensure the quality and accuracy of their test results, improving the overall testing process.

Introduce Jira Roadmap experience for quick create of test cases.

Ability to assign a Test Case to an based on the requirement. I.e: issue/folder/planned test run.

This alignment improves the overall quality of the testing process and helps ensure that all requirements are met before release.

Introduce more options menu for a Test Case

Inline Test Case headline edit.sers can now edit the headline of a Test Case directly inline, without the need to navigate to a separate editing screen. This enhancement improves the efficiency and speed of test case management, allowing users to quickly update Test Case details.

Planned Test Runs -Bulk Test Case - Quick Test. This feature enhances the efficiency and productivity of test execution, allowing users to quickly and easily perform multiple tests in a single action.

Introduce Planned Test Run History. This enhancement improves the overall test management process, ensuring that valuable testing insights are captured and leveraged for continuous improvement. Testers can now learn from past experiences and make more informed decisions for future testing activities.

Planned Test Runs - Introduce a Report Tab. This feature is particularly valuable for test managers or project stakeholders who need to track and communicate testing progress and results. The Report Tab provides a centralized location for generating and sharing Planned Test Run reports.

Ability to Import Test Cases to a Test folder. This feature is particularly valuable for teams that need to migrate or consolidate Test Cases from external sources into Vansah Test Management for Jira. Testers can now easily import existing Test Cases without the need for manual re-entry, saving time and ensuring data accuracy.
