What’s New

“Other Runs” – Tab

Vansah has expanded its Test Run visibility feature. Previously, users could only view Test Runs for a Test Case linked to the current requirement (i.e: Issue, Plan and Test Folder). Now, users can access all Test Runs (Other Runs Tab) for a Test Case, regardless of the project or requirement it was executed against.

This enhancement provides a comprehensive view of Test Case performance across various contexts, improving traceability and analysis capabilities.

Showing Test Log attachments with reference to Test Case and Step Number

Improved visibility for Test Log attachments by displaying them with references to the corresponding Test Case and Step Number. This enhancement allows users to easily trace attachments back to specific test cases and steps, providing clearer context and enhancing the traceability of test documentation.

Drag and drop attachments included for attachments /screenshots during Test Execution

We’ve enhanced the Test Execution process in Vansah by introducing a Drag and Drop feature for attachments and screenshots in the Actual Result section.

This improvement streamlines the process of adding visual evidence to test executions, making it quicker and more intuitive for users to document actual results.

Show Test Case version in Test Run page

The latest Vansah update introduces a feature that displays the version of each Test Case directly on the Test Run page.

This enhancement allows users to easily identify which version of a Test Case is being executed, ensuring clarity and precision in test management. By providing visibility into Test Case versions, teams can better track changes and maintain consistency across test executions, ultimately improving the accuracy and reliability of testing processes.

Ability to store new labels in Vansah if they do not exist in Jira

The new feature in Vansah allows users to store labels directly within Vansah if they do not exist in Jira.

This enhancement facilitates better integration and management of test cases by ensuring that all relevant labels are captured and stored, even if they haven’t been predefined in Jira. Previously users were only able to select a Label if it had existed in Jira.

Now you have a choice of selecting existing Jira Labels or creating a new Label directly from Vansah to link it to a Test Case.

Improved, resizable Test Folder Tree

Currently, Vansah allows you to hide and show the Test Folder Tree, but resizing beyond the default view is not possible. We are addressing this by introducing a new feature that will enable you to resize the Test Folder Tree. This means you can expand and display the entire contents of the folder tree, optimizing it for your available screen size.

This enhancement will allow you to adjust the left side of the window, ensuring that the important Test Folder Tree is fully visible and accessible according to your needs.

Cloning Test Plans

We are also working on introducing the ability to clone entire Test Plans. This upcoming feature will enable you to duplicate comprehensive Test Plans, maintaining all associated Test Cases and configurations. This will be particularly useful for teams managing multiple projects or iterations, ensuring consistency and efficiency across your testing processes.

More Test Case version features

Current Capability: Test Case Version Management

Vansah now enables you to manage and execute Test Case versions effectively. You can execute Test Cases based on the default version at the time they are associated with a requirement. This ensures consistency and reliability in your testing process.

Upcoming Features: Enhanced Version Selection

We are actively developing new features to give you greater control over Test Case versions within your Jira projects. Soon, you will be able to select which Test Case version you wish to associate with specific requirements. This enhancement will allow you to seamlessly switch between the default Jira workspace version and updated versions as needed, accommodating different releases or projects with ease.

We are committed to providing you with tools that adapt to your evolving needs. Keep an eye out for more updates as we continue to enhance your Vansah experience.
