You can block a Test Case in Vansah directly from a Jira work item, such as a Story, Bug, or Task. Blocking a Test Case prevents users from executing it until the block is removed.
You can choose to block the Test Case for the current work item, or apply a global block that affects all Jira projects using that Test Case.
Note: The same process to Block or Unblocking a Test Case against a Jira work item is used for a Test Folder or Test Plan
When to Use Block Test Case
Block a Test Case when:
The related functionality is not yet ready for testing
There’s a dependency or defect preventing execution
You want to pause testing until a blocker is resolved
Blocked Test Cases are clearly indicated within Vansah and are also reflected in your Test Reports.
