Vansah Test Management for Jira allows you to link Test Cases to Jira work items (previously known as Jira Issues). The same applies to Linking Test Cases to Test Folders.
Test Cases can be linked from any Jira space. If you have Test Cases in a different space you can link them to your current space by selecting the space to search for the Test Case. There are multiple ways to do this. If you are managing your Test Cases from the Vansah board, you can select your Test Cases and use the “Link ” option to link them to any number of Jira work items.
Note: If your Test Case is in a different space you can select the Space icon to search within a different space.
Alternatively, if you have a Jira work item open, you can go to the Vansah section and select “Link” to link your Test Case/s to the Jira work item.
Open the work item from Jira
Go to Vansah Test Management
Click on Link
Find your Test Cases and ensure you select the Case/s before you select Link to continue.
Note: If your Test Case is in a different Jira space you can select the Space icon to search within a different space (project).
After selecting the Test Cases click on Link to add them to the Jira work item.
