This guide helps you execute a Test Case directly from a Jira Work Item, ideal for validating requirements, stories, or bugs with clear traceability.
Before you begin
Ensure you have access to the Jira Space where Vansah is enabled
You have permission to view the Work Item and execute Test Cases
The Test Case must be linked to the Work Item
Steps to execute a Test Case from a Work Item
Open the required Jira Work Item
Navigate to Vansah Test Management within the Work Item
Locate the linked Test Case
Hover over the Test Case and click the Execute (▶) button
Select Execute to open a new Test Run, or Quick Test to record a result instantly.
To edit an existing Test Run
Click Test Run to open the most recent execution
Select New Test Run to start a fresh execution session
