How to Execute a Test Case from a Test Folder

This guide helps you execute Test Cases from a Test Folder, making it ideal for running a group of related Test Cases together.

Before you begin

  • Ensure you have access to the Jira Space where Vansah is enabled

  • You have permission to view and execute Test Cases

  • Test Cases are organized inside a Test Folder


Steps to Execute a Test Case from a Test Folder

  1. Open your Jira space.

  2. Inside the space, locate Vansah on the top-right space menu.

  3. Navigate to the Test Cases tab to view and manage Test Cases.

    <p>Open the **Test Cases** tab to browse everything in your test repository.</p>


  4. Now search for the Test Folder that contains the Test Case/s you wish to execute


  5. Select a Test Folder. All the Test Cases within the selected folder will appear in the Test Grid.

7. Hover over a Test Case and click the Execute button


If the Test Case was executed previously you will see an option to Edit the Test Run. Selecting this will open the last executed Test Run

8. Select New Test Run to execute a new Test Session. Alternatively you can provide a Quick Test Result
