When you update your Jiral URL, either by changing the product URL subdomain or adding a custom domain, most apps will no-longer work as expected. This is because the app may still use the old URL in its configuration.
The good news is Vansah Test Management for Jira and Confluence is compatible with Atlassian’s URL change feature.
Update Jira’s URL
You need to be an organization admin to do this, and have at least one paid product.
To update your URL:
Go to admin.atlassian.com. Select your organization if you have more than one.
Select Products > Product URLs.
For the site you want to update, select Update URL.
Enter your new URL.
Select Continue.
Select Update to confirm you want to change the URLs.
It may take up to 5 minutes for the change to take place.
Vansah will be updated once you access a Jira Issue with Vansah enabled. Alternatively you can load Vansah by going to Apps > Vansah which will open the default landing page for Vansah inside your Jira workspace.
Vansah will now be compatible with the new URL and you can continue to access Jira with Vansah.
Update Confluence URL
Your confluence URL will be identical to your Jira URL only difference is confluence is referred to /wiki path. Jira uses /jira after your domain name.
If you are using Vansah Test Management for Confluence and have since updated your Atlassian URL for Jira you will need to uninstall Vansah for Confluence and re-install it again to ensure the path is updated. No other change is required.
