Updating Vansah in Jira

When a Major update is required, Vansah now displays an update message across screens to inform you that a new major version is available. This will be displayed in the Vansah board and Jira Work item screen.

Click on What's new menu link to find out what's changed and how to update.

It is necessary to update Vansah to ensure optimal operation and to take advantage of new functionalities and capabilities. Updates can also provide bug fixes and security improvements, which can help avoid potential security vulnerabilities and data exposure.

Moreover, minor versions of Vansah may not require you to perform a physical update and will happen seamlessly within your Jira workspace.

To get started with a Major update, you first need to log in to your Jira account as a Jira Site Administrator

Steps:

  1. Log into your Atlassian application as a user with administrative privileges.

  2. From the top navigation bar in your application, select Apps, and then Manage apps.

  3. Locate Vansah

  4. From Actions - > Click on View app details

  5. Click the Update button next to Vansah.

This will download and apply the latest version of Vansah. When finished, a success message appears.
