The Test Case Assignment Overview Gadget provides a snapshot of test case distribution across users. Gain insights into workload allocation, test ownership, and ensure balanced test coverage and accountability across your team.
To Add the Test Case Assignment Overview Gadget to your Jira Dashboard
Go to your Jira Dashboard.
Click Edit on the dashboard.
Click Add a Gadget and search for “Vansah – Test Case Assignment Overview.”
Click Add to add the gadget to your dashboard.
Click Configure on the gadget.
Select the Project for which you want to view the Test Case assignments.
Apply any filters or selection options if required.
Click Save to generate the report.
What Information the Gadget Shows
The Test Case Assignment Overview Gadget displays a graphical summary of test case assignments in the selected project. It includes:
Total Test Cases assigned to each user.
Test Runs associated with the assigned test cases.
Work Items/Bugs linked to those test cases.
A bar chart visualization to easily compare assignments between users.
This helps teams quickly understand test ownership, workload distribution, and related test activity in the project.
Graph View Options
The gadget provides different options to change and export the graph view:
Switch to Line Chart – Changes the graph display to a line chart to view trends.
Switch to Bar Chart – Displays the data in a bar chart format.
Stack – Shows the data in a stacked graph for better comparison.
Restore – Restores the graph to its default view.
Save as Image – Downloads the graph as an image file for sharing or reporting.
