Deleting a Test Plan

How to delete a Test Plan

You can delete a Test Plan either from a Jira Work Item or from a Test Folder or from the Test Plan Tab. When you delete a Test Plan, all related Test Iterations/Runs are also removed.

Delete a Test Plan from a Jira Work Item

  1. Open the Jira Work Item that is linked to the Test Plan you want to delete.

  2. Go to the Test Plans tab to view all related Test Plans.

  3. Click the More options (⋯) icon.

  4. Click Delete Test Plan.

  5. You will see a confirmation message:
    “Delete the Test Plan #<number>. All related Test Plan data will be permanently deleted.”

  6. Click Delete again to confirm.

Delete a Test Plan from the Test Folder

  1. Open the Test Folder that contains the Test Plan you want to delete.

  2. Click the Test Plans tab inside the folder.

  3. Expand the list to see all Test Plans linked to this folder.

  4. Click the More options (⋯) icon.

  5. Click Delete Test Plan.

  6. A confirmation message will appear:
    “Delete the Test Plan #<number>. All related Test Plan data will be permanently deleted.”

  7. Click Delete again to confirm.

Delete a Test Plan from the Test Plans Tab

  1. Go to the Vansah Board.

  2. Open the Test Plans tab.

  3. Find the Test Plan you want to delete.

  4. Click the More options (⋯) icon.

  5. Select Delete Test Plan and confirm.
