Is my Jira data stored in Vansah’s servers or within Jira itself?

Updated this week

Vansah processes your core testing data on secure external servers (AWS and DigitalOcean), while only limited Jira metadata is accessed. No sensitive Jira data or personally identifiable information is stored or sent outside Atlassian’s infrastructure.

  1. Data Hosting & Processing: All Vansah-managed data—including test cases, scripts, runs, plans, reports, and their attachments—is hosted and processed on external servers provided by AWS (Amazon Web Services) and DigitalOcean—not within your Jira instance.

  2. Limited Jira Data Access: Vansah only accesses a small set of metadata from your Jira environment, such as:

    • Atlassian Account IDs

    • Jira Issue Key and Identifier

    • Jira Project Identifier

    • Jira Component Identifier

    • Jira Label

    • Custom Field IDs

No other Jira data is extracted or sent externally.

  3. GDPR Compliance & PII: Vansah does not process any Personally Identifiable Information (PII); all PII remains under Atlassian’s management. Vansah is also compliant with GDPR requirements.
