Cloning a Test Step allows you to reuse an existing Step available from your Test Script (Multi Step).
How to Clone a Test Step
Locate the Test Step: Navigate to the desired Test Case and go to the Test Script Tab.
The Test Script must be a Multi-Step format to clone Test Steps.
Access Cloning Option:
Hover over the Test Step you wish to clone.
On the left-hand side, locate and click the ellipsis (⋯) button.
Select "Clone Test Step" from the menu
Configure Cloning Options:
Choose which properties to clone:
Step Detail
Test Data
Expected Result
Attachment Cloning:
By default, attachments will be cloned.
Uncheck the option if you don't want to clone attachments.
Complete Cloning: Confirm your selections then click Clone to continue.
View the Cloned Test Step: The cloned Test Step will appear at the bottom of the existing Test Script, containing all selected properties and attachments (if chosen).
