You can export Test Cases from the following screens:
Jira Work Item
Test Folders
Test Plan
Note: Up to one thousand Test Cases can be exported at a time. You can export all Test Cases without selecting them individually.
Export Test Cases from a Jira Work Item
1. Open a Jira Work Item
2. Go to Vansah Test Management within the Jira Work Item
3. Now find and select the Test Case/s you wish to Export (up to 1000).
4. Click on “More Options” in the top right hand section then select Export
Now you should be able to select either option:
Test Cases (All Fields for a Test Case apart from the Test Script)
Test Cases and Test Script or
Test Cases, Test Script and Results
5. Select Next
6. Now you can choose the File Type you wish to export the cases to. You may export Test Cases into an XLSX, HTML, CSV, TXT, or an XML format.
7. Click Export to finish Exporting
Note: HTML Export will include Screenshots within the Test Case description and Test Script. Simply download the HTML file and convert this using your preferred tool to Word or PDF.
Export Test Cases from a Test Folder
Navigate to the Vansah Board under your Jira Project
Select a Test Folder
Find your Test Cases and select the Test Cases which you wish to export. Alternatively do not select the Test Cases and Vansah will export all the Test Cases available within the selected Test Folder.
Export Test Cases from a Test Plan
Navigate to the Test Plan
Find your Test Plan and Click on More options
Click on Export Test Plan and follow the same process as above
