This guide walks you through connecting your AI tool to Vansah using the Model Context Protocol (MCP). Once connected, your tool can read and write to your Vansah workspace based on your access and permissions.
Authentication
Vansah MCP uses Atlassian OAuth 2.0 (3LO) to securely authorize access to your Jira and Vansah data.
When connecting Vansah MCP to a supported AI agent such as ChatGPT and Clause, you will be asked to sign in with your Atlassian account and approve access.
Vansah MCP respects your existing Vansah and Jira permissions. The AI agent can only access the workspaces, projects, and testing information that your Atlassian account is already permitted to access.
You do not need to provide your Atlassian password or API token to the AI agent.
