Test Data Collection versions allow you to manage changes to test data over time without impacting existing test executions. By creating a new version, you can safely update, extend, or experiment with test data while retaining previous versions for traceability and rollback.
Steps to Create a New Test Data Collection Version
Open your Test Environment or Test Case and navigate to Test Data Collections.
1. Select the Test Data collection
2. Click the Version dropdown
3. Choose Create New Version
4. Choose which version to Copy from
5. Enter a descriptive name for your new test data collection version.
6. Optional: Set this new version as the default by checking this box.
7. Click Create to finalize and save your new test data collection version.
8. Reopen the Version dropdown to view available versions or switch between them.
9. Select Manage versions to organize or edit your data collection versions.
