Reconfigure an Advanced Test Plan

Once an Advanced Test Plan is created, you can update it when requirements change. This guides you through the reconfiguration process step by step.


Step 1: Open the Advanced Test Plan

  1. Go to Test Plan.

  2. Find the required Advanced Test Plan.

The Reconfigure option is visible only after opening the Test Plan.


Step 2: Click Reconfigure

  1. On the Test Plan details page, look at the top-right corner.

  2. Click Reconfigure


Step 3: Update Test Case Requirement

The Reconfigure screen will open with the following options:

Work Item(s) Selection

  • Shows the Jira work items linked to the Test Plan.

  • You can add new work items or remove existing ones.

  • Work items can be selected using List, JQL, or Filter.

Test Folder(s) Selection

  • Allows you to include test cases from Vansah Test Folders.

  • Remove test folders if they are no longer needed

  • Useful for regression testing or reusable test cases.


Step 4: Save the Changes

  1. Review your updated selection.

  2. Click Save.
