Are you looking to migrate your test management from Xray to Vansah Test Management for Jira?
This guide will walk you through the steps required to smoothly export your Xray tests and import them into Vansah, so your team can continue managing, executing, and reporting on tests with minimal disruption.
When you migrate from Xray to Vansah, you can bring across:
Test Cases (with steps, expected results, attachments)
Test Plans
Test Executions and Results
Requirements (linked issues)
Folders and test organization
Note: Not all Xray fields have a direct equivalent in Vansah. Review the imported data and make adjustments as necessary.
Steps:
1.Access Vansah Plugin Migrations from your Jira workspace. From Jira go to Apps and select Vansah.
2.Click on Plugin Migrations from the menu
3. Select Xray from the Vansah Plugin Migrations drop down
4. Select Next to continue
5. Select the Jira Project to migrate Xray data from. Only two projects can be selected at any one time. Select Next to continue.
Note: You will need to be a project Admin for the project you want to Migrate.
6. Enter the required API Token to support the Migration. To generate a new token select the link next to each field.
7. After validating your API tokens, select Next to continue for the migration job to start.
8. Once all Assets have completed migrating you will see DONE status besides each migrated asset.
Now you can go into Jira and access Vansah from the project to see your data migrated across from Xray.
