Understanding Reports in Vansah Test Management for Jira

Updated this week

Reports in Vansah help you track test coverage, execution progress, and traceability across Jira work items.

Before you begin

  • You need access to the Jira Space where Vansah is enabled.

  • Your available reports may depend on your Vansah edition and permissions.

What you can report on

Common reporting use cases include:

  • Execution progress (what’s been run, what’s pending)

  • Result trends (pass/fail over time)

  • Coverage and traceability (work items linked to Test Cases and results)

  • Folder and plan summaries (progress by test folder or test plan)

Where to find reports

You can typically access reporting from:

  1. The Vansah Dashboard

  2. Reporting gadgets on Jira dashboards

  3. Report tabs in context (for example, within a Jira work item or a test folder)

How to get the most accurate reports

  1. Link test cases to the right Jira work items.

  2. Keep result statuses consistent (rename them if your team uses different labels).

  3. Configure environments, versions, and other properties if you want filtering and breakdowns.
