Searching Test Cases by Assignee

In Vansah you can search Test Cases by applying Filters. In this guide we will explain how you can Filter Test Cases by Assignee.

Filtering by Unassigned or Current User

To view Test Cases Assigned to you or those that are Unassigned:

  1. Access Filters

  2. Add Assignee

  3. Choose to Filter by Assignee = (equals) or Assignee != (not equals)

  4. Select one of the following options:

    • "Unassigned": The "Filter by" will be applied for no Assignee.

    • "Current User": The "Filter by" will be applied based on the Current user accessing the filter.

    • "Search Assignees": Search and add Assignees to "Filter by" based on the selected users.

Selecting Multiple Users

Vansah allows you to filter by multiple Assignees simultaneously:

  1. Click on the Assignee filter dropdown.

  2. Click on the names of multiple users you want to include in your filter.

  3. You should see all selected users appear in the filter box.

Applying the Filter

After setting your desired Assignee filter options:

  1. Ensure all your selections are correct.

  2. Look for an "Apply" or "Filter" button.

  3. Click this button to update your test case view based on your chosen assignee criteria.

Clearing the Filter

To remove the Assignee filter:

  1. Locate the active Assignee filter

  2. Look for clear option "X"

  3. Click this to remove the Assignee filter and reset your view.
