This feature is available for Jira Software and Confluence with Enterprise, Premium, and Standard plans. Based on Atlassian license requirements
If data residency is available for your region, you can request to have your in-scope Vansah data pinned to a new location.
Before you request a data residency move, you should understand how the move will affect your product and how we’ll manage it.
How a data residency move affects Vansah
Before requesting a data residency move, you should know that Vansah Test Management For Jira will be offline.
When we receive a request from Atlassian to move your data to a supported region we will first begin by deactivating access to your current region. This ensures that data will be identical at the time of starting and completing the move request.
When your data is moving to its new location, it will be offline, and your users won’t be able to access it. This process could take 2 to 24 hours to complete, depending on the size and type of your data. However, it would be best to plan for your product to be offline for up to 24 hours.
We’ll email you when your move starts, when it’s finished, and when your product is back online.
Request a data residency move
If data residency is available for your region, you can request for it to be moved to one of our available regions and keep it pinned there.
To request a data residency move please follow these steps

How we move your data
During a data residency move, we:
1.Remove access to your data in your source location
2.Create a copy of your data in your new pinned location.
3.Verify that the data in the two locations match.
4.Delete the source data in the original location.
5.We only delete your source product data content once we have confirmed that your content is in your chosen location.
6.Data will remain in your original source location for up to 7 days.
By default, Vansah is hosted in the Default (USA) location if your Jira instance has not been pinned to another location which is supported by Vansah.
If you require a Region which has not been included above however is supported by Atlassian please raise a support request to have your region available before installing or moving your data. We are committed to supporting all Atlassian regions in the near future.
