Exporting Test Cases in Jira

You can export Test Cases from the following screens in Jira:

  1. Jira Issue Screen

  2. Vansah Board

  3. Planned Test Run

Note: Up to one thousand Test Cases can be exported at a time.

Export from Jira Issue Screen

1. Open a Jira Issue

2. Go to Vansah within the Issue

3. Now find and select the Test Cases you wish to Export (up to 1000).

4. Click on “More Options” in the top right hand section then select Export

Now you should be able to select either option:

Test Cases (All Fields for a Test Case apart from the Test Script)

Test Cases and Test Script or

Test Cases, Test Script and Results

5. Select Next

6. Now you can choose the File Type you wish to export the cases to. You may export Test Cases into an XLSX, CSV, TXT, or an XML format.

7. Click Export to finish Exporting.

Export from Vansah Board

Navigate to the Vansah Dashboard under your Jira Project

Find your Test Cases and select the cases which you wish to export. Follow the same process to export your selected Test Cases.

Export from a Planned Test Run

Navigate to the Planned Test Run within your Jira Project

Find your Test Cases and select the cases which you wish to export. Follow the same process to export your selected Test Cases.
