The folder path represents the full hierarchical location of a Test Folder within your Test Repository. Copying this path makes it easy to reference, share, or document exactly where a Test Folder sits inside your project structure.
Before you begin
Make sure you have at least one Test Folder created in your Test Repository.
You need access to the Vansah Board within your Jira Space.
The folder path follows the structure of your Test Repository, beginning at the root and listing each nested folder, separated by a forward slash (/).
For example:
Business Priorities (Critical Testing Processes)/
This represents a Test Folder located directly under the Test Repository.
Nested folders would appear as:
folder_1/folder_2/folder_3/
Steps
Open Vansah in your Jira Space.
Click on Test Cases tab
From the Test Repository tree, click the Test Folder whose path you want to copy.
The selected folder's path appears within the tool tip when you hover over the selected Test folder.
To copy the folder path select the more actions menu button to the right of the selected Test Folder and click on Copy Folder Path from the available menu options.
The folder path is now copied to your clipboard and ready to paste wherever you need it.
