Getting Started with Vansah Intelligence (AI) Requirements generator

Updated this week

Note: Available as part of Vansah Advanced Edition

The Vansah Intelligence Requirements Generator allows you to generate software requirements or user stories directly from the information you already have.

By analyzing attached files, linked Confluence pages, or content stored within your Vansah repository folder, Vansah automatically converts existing documentation into clear, structured requirements.

The generated requirements are then made available in Jira, ready for review, refinement, and use by your delivery teams.

Note: For detailed steps on activation, see the Activate Vansah Intelligence article.

How It Works

1. Go to your Jira Project and access Vansah.

2. Click on Vansah Intelligence

3. Click on Requirements Generator

Repository:

Select a folder from your repository. Attached documents within the folder along with folder description will be ingested.

  • User Stories are structured as follows: "As a [user], I want [goal] so that [reason]."

6. Click Next to continue

7. Vansah will now analyze the document/s provided to generate requirements. Select the requirements you want to continue with and select Next to continue.

8. Select the Jira space and associated Work item type to create your selected requirements. Click Next to continue.

9. In the next screen select Yes to create the requirements as Related work items for an existing Epic or a new Epic. Otherwise select No to create them as standalone Jira work items
